About Jabon International
In July of 2013, due to our operational strategy and company integration, our name was changed to “Jabon International Co. Ltd”. GB&PM Group and Consumer Electronics Group were also established to strengthen the existing transmission and powder metallurgy groups and to branch out into different fields of business. By adjusting organizational structures, we seek to maximize profitability for our shareholders.
As the competition in the smartphone market intensifies, client’s sales numbers have not met expectations. Since the 3rd quarter of 2014 they’ve started adjusting their operational strategy, reducing size of operation and gradually switching into non-electronic component manufacturing. Due to the need of stronger and lighter plastic material in the automobile and home appliance market and the need of more delicate plastic components, along with our subsidiary companies, we have acquired 100% of the shares of IKKA in July of 2014 and March of 2015, and we own 51% of the shares. IKKA is a major manufacturer for automobile components, molds and accessories in Japan, with international sales locations in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Malaysia. And their clients include major Japanese automobile part manufacturers such as Aisin Seiki, NSK and Advanex. As Jabon’s powder metallurgy is widely used in transmission and automobile components, we hope to combine IKKA’s existing technology and channels with our own products to branch into higher grossing markets, and conduct business in the existing IKKA clientele.
Our vision of 2015 is to continue our efforts in acquiring orders from European, American and Japanese major manufacturers and to actively develop products outside of electric tools to compete for orders from American manufacturers. In addition, in response to the changes in electric tool industry, we’re planning the horizontal and vertical integration of transmission and set up a transmission production line in Suzhou to serve our clients nearby. Currently, our transmission production line in Suzhou has been certified by our clients and production has begun. For the expansion of our business, we’re actively integrating and utilizing available common resources to enter different fields and to build an integrated, common production platform to share the integration results.
